Your Perception of Camry Quality 1993-Present?

Save your money.

I have owned a 1994 and a 1997 Camry. The 1994 was the best quality car I have ever owned. I only sold it because we needed a bigger vehicle. My experience has been the quality of the interior suffered greatly with the redesign. I have no experience with the new generation Camry but you should drive one around and see if it is as quiet or the interior doesn't feel cheap compared to the 1993.

I'd see if I could rent one if at all possible. at least you could perceive of the quality yourself that way.

My 94 Camry has 283000 miles and still runs great. Only MAJOR problem I?ve had are replacing the transmission at 180K. Other than that it has been just the scheduled maintenance. I love this car and know I will never find another that runs as good for as long.

I'm with Art -- save your money. 68k miles in 12 years is low. Since you don't drive much I don't see the need in buying new, especially since you've had no problems.
