Just got my 05 tacoma and after having a cap installed i noticed a gap of almost an inch at the top of the tailgate on both sides the dealer says its normal anyone else notice the same problem ?? thanks for any input

i guess i did not explain it right the gaps are between the tailgate and the truck bed near the top of the gate i have a leer cap and that is not a problem
Do you mean that the top edge of the tailgate is significantly lower than the edges of the rails?
