2005 Tundra Access Cab???

Does anyone have any info about whether the 2005 Tundra Access Cab model will be the same size as 2204 or whether the Access cab will be wider and have a longer wheelbase, something like the new Tundra Double Cabs?

Thanks, Sandy

After posting here, I found out that the Toyota website has the info on the

2005 models, including the specs, etc:

I think the 2204 will have a bigger cab, and be self lowering when the doors are opened. ;)

(Sorry, tough job but somebody's got to do it!)

Likely a 2204 will have matter/anti-matter drive.

I know. Me too. ;-)

Thanks for the info. In addition, I just heard that the *2205* model will introduce Toyota's turbo jet engine which will get fantabulous mileage as well as being very fast in the 0 to 90!

Um, what else?

I'd put it about the same as the F-150, 1500, 1500 Dodge, etc.

They have *all* gotten soft, due to the fact that people are buying them for a second 'car' and want car-like features!

Now, I have a V10 2500 and a 7.3 Powerstroke F350 for sale if you wanna talk *TRUCK*. But who needs to pull stumps all the time?

PS: 'Yinz???' You from Pittsburgh?

I've been in a lotta trucks - starting with a 53 Ford. I'd take today's Tundra before any of 'em.

Just how many pick-em-up's you been in?

Whoa...'53.

Flathead 8, wooden bed, stepside body.

Steering wheel said "1903-1953" Ford 50th Anniversary.

Had a chance to buy one when I was 17 for $50. Sat in a barn for 8 years. Needed work. Still kicking myself...*HARD*

Pgh. it is,........and I was just yanking your chain. Toyota trucks are the best, just a little on the small side. The Tundra seems to fit between the F-150 and Dodge Durango is size. Not bad, just not as big or powerful as the big boys with stump pulling V-8s or V10s. The new Nissan Titan is a stump pulling type of truck, but I understand it has its teething problems. I was looking for something to pull a 7,000 +lb. trailer, and the Tundra crew cab is just a tad small for that. Or so I'm told,........ 8-P

It's a Nissan. It will *always* have teething problems!

Hmmm...Toyota adverts say it will pull 6,800. You need the extra 200Lb? Re-reading, you *do* say 7K *+*, don't you?)

BTW I have a 2000 F-350 7.3L powerstroke diesel w/57K, loaded, leather for $19000, and a '9(7)? '99? Dogde (misp int!) V-10 Quad Cab 4 Dr w/83K for $14000, also loaded, no leather...wanna talk stump-pulling?

An' ya still dint answer Yinz!!!

Yes I did, re-read the second line above: Pgh. it is,........ And I did say 7,000 lb. +.......... Nissan Titan, Ford F-150/250/350 is still the better way to go. Maybe... LOL However, Toyota is the quality winner here. 8-P
