Does the new V6 have timing belts or chains, and is it an interference engine? Would appreciate an URL to the documentation if available. Could not find any reference on net. Thanks Udo

The parts counter in a dealership can tell you if it takes a belt or a chain. If a belt, don't trust the service writers to know if it's interference or not...I had to give them the page number in the Tundra repair manual to convince them the 2UZ-FE V8 was an interference engine.
