are there maintenance scheduled posted on the web somewhere. my vehicle did not come with one.

Thta should be listed in the Owner's Manual, if that did not come with the vehicle, you could try contacting your local Toyota dealer to obtain a copy, or find one for sale on eBay, at a public library or even contac Toyota Publications and request a copy, or the Factory Service Manual is an even better source of that information:

try doing a search on google for a tacoma ...there is lots of web sites dedicated to the toyota tacoma
