Crankshaft Pulley Tricks

Is there a trick to get the crankshaft pulley nut off when it is not still in the truck and stripped down almost to the short block?

Yeah a good strong professional air power wrench.

Or use a board to wedge the crank against the block, a breaker bar, and a length of pipe over the breaker bar. Any board splinters will go away when you clean the block. (apparently you're disassembling it)
