Install gauge cluster with tach into 85 truck w/no tach?

Hey all, I purchased the 85 pickup I have been asking about the last few days. One thing I dislike is the fact that it has no tach. Can I buy a gauge cluster out of a 4runner or something similar that has a tach, and swap it in? How big of a deal will it be to get the tach hooked up and working?

The SR5 vsn PU had the tach and other gauges std. Find one from same cyl engine and trans (auto or std) and it is an easy pull and plug back in. For the oil gauge to work you need to replace the oil sender with one with 2 outputs (less than $20). Seems on some years a wire has to be run for the tach. You see the gauge units on ebay for $40-75.

Yes, you can (and, I have one for sale out of an 89 4Runner SR5 V6!) it can be easily modified for the 4cylinder:

the email address is valid. It is an easy and worthwhile swap. I had > Hey all, I purchased the 85 pickup I have been asking about the last few
