NASCAR Tundra??

Dec 30, 2003 2 Replies

Toyota starts racing in the NASCAR truck series next year. The Ameriacan V8s are 355 cubic inches, WAY bigger than the Toyota V8. But, the Toyota is DOHC. Does anyone know what motor configuration will be found in the Toyota racetrucks?

Also heard that Camry will race in 2005. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure. I've seen a Tundra drag racing running 6 seconds on an inline

6 cylinder. Oh, a Solara also ran 6 seconds.

I assume it will be "stock." Just like the stock, rear-wheel drive NASCAR Chevys, Dodges, and Fords... :>))

Maybe the name should be NAOKOSACAR (National Association Of Kind Of Stock Appearing Cars Auto Racing)...
