New tires for 97 4Runner

First off, thanks in advance for any replies.

I need new tires for my 97 4Runner 2wd. The majority of my driving is paved road/highway, but sometimes I do go off road. I've pretty much got it narrowed down between a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos or a set of Michelin LTX M/S. Both are very highly rated and do well all around. Does anyone here have any experience with either the Bridgestone or the Michelin? Any other suggestions would be welcome. Also, does anyone have an opinion on 235 vs. 225's? OE is 225, but the tires I am replacing are 235. Thanks for any help.

Joe.

9-2-04 I have a set of the LTX A/S for my 88 pickup. They have been very good. I don't know exactly how many miles, but great wear. Traction is good, also - not as good as a mudder. Not as noisy as mudders. I would go with the 235 size. It should not throw your speedo off much.

9-2-04 I also have a set of the M/S on my wifes 98 4Rnr. They are great. I would not say the offroad capability is as good as the A/S.
