I just purchased a used tacoma. The drivers electric window goes down fine but taked three or four tries on the switch to go up or not at all. Switch, relay, motor? Any thoughts. Mark

Sounds like high resistance in the motor. A usual symptom right before it craps completely. Characterized by the window going up a bit and then slowing down and stopping, unable to move unless you let it sit for several minutes.
Is it binding - my honda electric windows were binding and I sprayed some silicone on the channels and now they are fine. Used the plastic thingy that sticks in the spray nozzle to concentrate and get the silicone way down in the channel when the window is down.
