Anyone got any thoughts on this problem please?
Passenger window works fine from Passenger switch When Passenger window is halfway down, and down is pressed on the drivers side passenger window switch, the window goes up.
The drivers window goes neither up nor down when its switch is pressed.
There seems to be a resetting fuse, but as the passenger window works, it doesn't look like a fuse problem.

The most common fault for golf electric windows is the wiring from the body to the doors as the wires become frayed and even break so check for broken wires touching each other, probably on the drivers side.

Yes thanks a lot, it was an earth wire broken as it goes through the door grommet.
