My niece is having a problem with her truck. She lives in Maui so I'm trying to help by remote control. I sent her the replacement parts she needed for the ignition but they are still telling her the ECU is bad. They can't find one over there and I can't find a used or new ones anywhere around here (San Diego). Toyota says it's a discontinued item.
Any ideas?
I sent her the ignitor/coil assy, they wanted $600.00 over there for just the ignitor.
This is what we're looking for or something that will interchange. Emissions Control unit #89550-35300
