Running Boards

What are the best after market fender to fender running boards for a 2003 Tundra? (I live in Canada) Any help appreciated, Thanks.

If you don't have them now, you might want to re-think getting them. The wife's 4unner has running boards with a nice shiny few inches of chrome edging where the driver's left calf keeps it free of road grime.

And they make a great place to carry extra snow... :>))

I remember my mom complaining about my dad, standing in the yard with his foot on the running board of a neighbor's pickup, talking for what seemed like hours. Mom said she would be just as happy if pickups didn't have running boards for farmers to use. She compared it to the foot rails at the local bar... :>))

I always find it kind of funny that people put running boards on their pickups. In the old days, they had running boards because the truck was tall enough you needed the help to get in, now days, they're mostly for looks, and the sides are shiny because people step OVER the running board instead of ON it to get in, and most of the pickups that are jacked up are done for looks, not so they can haul more hay or fertilizer, and anyway, the wimpy tires they put on wouldn't take the load.

Speaking of wimpy tires, have you noticed that the 20" (or so) wheels they put on make SUVs look like Conestoga prairie schooners?

Funny world we live in...
