seal packing?

I thinking of replacing the oil pan gasket on '96 T100 2wd. The FSM says to apply Seal packing: Part No. 08826-00080 or equivalent, to the sealing surface. What exactly is this? RTV? Thanks, Jeff

I'm pretty sure it's a type of RTV. I've used the standard gasket maker type with good results (the red stuff). You may want to give your local dealer a call and see if they sell the 'Yota approved type in tubes.
