SEQUIOA 2WD screeching sound

I have a 2002 TOYOTA SEQUIOA 2WD. It has about 14k on it. The problem with it is whenever I take a U RURN or a fast turn the tyres make a screeching sound. Is it normal with SUVs? or is it something to do with the tyres? I have this problem since day one. Thanks Pilla

Possibly the alignment OR the tires.

I had the BFGs on my '03 Tundra and had a similar noise. Pretty bad too... I thought it was the LSD locking up on the corner.

Well... I wasn't good enough about rebalancing the tires (hitting

9-12k instead of 5k) and they cupped badly at the edges. Plenty of tread in the center, but one tire had belt exposed at the inboard edge.

Replaced them with a set of Michelin Cross-Terrain ($5 more than the LXT with a 700 vs 400 treadwear!) and they are very quiet and comfortable. No road noise, and no squealing on corners, even in parking garages. Toward the end, the BFGs would squeal on any kind of slick surface even when gently turned into a parking stall.
