Tacoma Lemon

I recently bought a 2004 Tacoma PreRunner double cab. After 800 km it was stalling, backfiring and eventually failing to start. It was serviced for 3 days for these problems as well as a water leak on the passenger side. They could not find the source of the leak and claimed that the throttle position sensor was not fastened correctly and that it was fixed. At about 1600 km the same problems were back. The water leak was still there. This time they claimed that the source of the leak was found and that the ECM had sustained water damage and needed to be replaced. They replaced the ECM. After 6 days I was able to get my truck back, I drove it for 2 days and it is back in to be serviced again, this time I noticed that the water leak was back, 2000 km on the odo this time. I have had my vehicle for only 5 weeks. Has anyone had similar problems with the 2004 tacomas? I have seen some posts about water leaks in the 1998 models but nothing since.
