my 1986 toyota turck 4x4 was having a problem iddling to high the distributor had come lose.so i tigtened it back up and the idle got worse. losened it back up and noticed there was a problem with the wire when trying to look at the wire better moved the distributor to much and the timing is so bad the truck wont start now. so how do i put the distributor in right so the truck will start again

Marked it before moving....too late for that now.....

Turn the crank shaft until the the timing mark is around 11 degrees then reinsert the distributor with it over the #1 plug wire. This should get you a base line.
