Used FJ62 and FJ80 Land Cruiser Opinions

I want to get out from under a car payment, and am considering selling my Tacoma DC and buying an older Land Cruiser. I'm considering anything from

1988-1997 including the Lexus LX450. I know Land Cruisers have a reputation for being built like a brick sh*t house, but realistically, if I were to purhchase one of these with say 120k on it, what is the likelihood that the engine and transmission will make it to 200-250k? I expect of course to replace things like belts, hoses, brakes, tires etc.

Also, for those who own such beasts, I tend to travel to Florida several times a year (I am near Charlotte, NC), what is it like to take a long trip in a FJ62 or an FJ80?

Thanks,

Brian
