I need the impossible-to-find bumper shock absorbers for a 74 super beetle. I need all 4 shocks, used is fine so long as they haven't been hit. If you have a set let me know how much you want to part with them.
Alternatively, has anyone actually had one of these 'self-restoring' gadgets actually come back out after a collision? Mine seem to be perma-compressed. ;)

Hey Chris no body makes the bumper shocks new so you will have to find a good used set.
I know I set Joan up with a good set ( I keep all the good ones I get for my customers) so you might want to get ahold of her or kelly now that he stripped the car with no intentionss of ever fixing it.

1974 only. 75 and up are a different part number.

Funniest thing today is a customer said he heard all about this internet BS and said that he was told first hand that I'm the best so he came to me. people want to be able to have the restos done start to finish.
I'm willing to bet that I could keep my gate closed for a month and not take on any new work and at the end off the month they will be lining up at the gate begging for me to do more.
