I'm hunting around for a project, mainly a splittie Bus, so I went to check out some stuff a guy with a VW shop near my house has to offer. Didn't see any Busses I was interested in, but I did see a nice solid '59 Bug sedan which needs a rear apron, an engine, front seats and a steering wheel to be complete, but the body is very solid and there are no major rust issues. He only wants $800 though he was willing to go down to $700. Its the kind of Bug I guess you guys back East would drool over but I figure it will cost me too much to restore and then sell and make money off of it. Bug sedans, unless they are splits or ovals, just don't command very high prices it seems. Anyway, hate to see this thing just sit there and rot.
