Bug shows in PA?

Hi all,

We're soon going to be getting a 2003 MexiBeetle (titled as a 76) and we also have a true 74. Thought it might be fun to go to some shows over the summer. Not so much to enter because I think it'd be unfair to put the 2003/76 in based on title year but I know some shows have a section to just park your car and be in a "no grade" class or something.

Anyway - does anyone know of shows in Eastern PA like that? We're in the Scranton area but going down to Hershey/Carlisle and Philly and such is ok. I know Hershey and Carlisle have a lot of shows but didn't know if there are any Bug specific.

We really just want to meet up with other bug people and chat and stuff.

Theres also one on may 2 and oct 17 at the beaver springs dragway this is the one I usually go to every year. I have some pictures from the previous show there on my web site

..............I'm hoping to go to Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pa. (near Reading) on Sunday, June 13th for the Super Jam. It would be an easy drive for you from Scranton. I'll be passing through Scranton at about 6:00 or soon thereafter for the 8:00 opening of the gates. Those booths at the swap shop were well picked over a few years ago when I arrived about an hour late.
