The EGR light just lit up on my '78 westy. I think this is an emission control system, right? How expensive is this to fix? Is it just the EGR valve? Thank for any help.

Reset the mileage counter. Remove the left kick panel. Behind it you will find the black box that the speedo cable connects to. Press the rest button.
