Before I ran out of light yesterday, I had managed to put the starter on, wire ignition and oil light (PO cut all the wires when the engine was removed, I bought the car sans engine) and cranked it up.
Engine spun ok, oil light went out in less than 10 seconds!
I will crank it a bit more today to make sure oil gets to the entire engine and fire it up!!
