There is another salvage yard by Purcell, OK with a lot of air cooled VWs and one by Siloam Springs, Arkansas but I do not have the links.

I do not know what they ask for for an old VW body, but I hope this helps. Please reply on what you have dicided on.

THanks for the info. I had heard about the one in Kingston but ditn't now where it was. I thought it was in the other Kingston. Its only 45 miles north of us. I used to live in Siloam Springs area and never heard of VW yard there. Lots of guys around there were looking for them back then. Were going to keep looking for a miricle. the prices at these yards are way more than I want to pay. Do you know what ever happend to the place in Vilonia? I believe the yard is full of cars but its closed isn't it?

In October 1994 I think we paid about $800.00 for a 1973 beetle with no engine and need quite a bit of work. I took the engine and a lot of other parts from a 1971 and installed them on the 1973. Sorry I do not know about a salvage yard by Vilonia. You might check the online Yellow pages.
