we added amber directional lights to the side mirrors on my wife's ghia. they are great! we were worried that the front directionals were not too visible when the halogen headlites were on. they are on almost all daylight hours here in the foggy Northcoast. now , we know people can see them. and if you have the type that don't like to cancel. well, these are an answer.

Nice. I've been wanting to do this with my '74. The fenders and headlights are from a '65 with the parking light used as a turn signal...not very effective. Do the Ghia mirrors mount on the hinges?

no. this is a '69 and running the wire is a problem .
