THAT'S what I call a FLEET!

Nice! Did you rebuild the mini (Austin or Cooper?) as well? It has twin carbs, right?

Crikey Rich. I thought i was getting worried about the neighbours with my four. Landy looks fun....and as for the narrow boat......always fancied one of those, but our local canal needs dredging, which is pretty unlikely to happen...

Not rebuilt it yet. We just bought it and used it. My 1st ever car was a mini clubman (different bonnet ( hood) ) They are great fun. I didnt like it as much as my beetle (bug) though !

It is a standard mini with an 850 engine. The gear stick (shifter) goes through the bulkhead by your feet, not through the floor by your hand (parking ;-) ) break. I will be keeping that one stock as they are getting rare now.

Yeah. I will try not to buy any more till I sell a few ! unless I see a Karmann Ghia at the right price :-)

I bought the Landy with the intention not using my busses for junk and building stuff. I would like to keep them nice !

I will never forget the look on the fork lift drivers face as he loaded a ton of sand and gravel into the side of my splitty ! the whole staff came out to see if it would fold in half !

It was a little heavy on the steering, but fine otherwise. Still, its not the way to treat a 40+ yr old bus !

I also drive a mini like that for a couple of years. It was the same age I was (18 years old). I also loved to drive that car until I hit a wall a sign saying speed limit speed 40 km/h. It got shorter about 10 cm. I was able to get home on 3 wheels and with no oil because I also open a big hole on the case. The main problem was when I tried to brake...

There was an absolute beauty on flea-bay recently, went for about £2600, apparently once owned by Kid Creole !! Killed me watching that one go...
