I just purchased an 1960's Fiberglass Buggy with a early built up motor. The problem is it had two rusted cylinders I had to destroy to get them off. The rest of motor is in great shape has very few miles on it may be 10-15K miles on it. And once I tried to purchase a new set I relized that it has an Early 88mm EMPI/Mahl ,Cast Alum. Fin W/Steel Sleeve, Machine to fit Stock Stroke Piston and Cyl. Set installed . The Case had been machined to 92.05mm and heads had been machined to 95.55mm accept these Cyls.I am looking for a set of four or at least two Cyls. with Pistons.Also or a newer set that will bolt in place of these, So far I can't not find any such thing! If any one has these or a lead to follow up on It would be great. Here if the Measurements of my cylinder Bore 88mm /Skirt 92mm OD /Top Cyl. 95.50mm OD/ Overall hight 137mm /base gasket surface to top fin upper surface
104mm. Base of Cyl Marked 88ZDI MAHL / EMPI /87199 /a small 71 over an M in a circle / Thanks in advance for your help !- posted
