I need to buy a set of running boards for my 71 bug. Can anyone lead me in the right direction on where and there experience they have in getting a set. I need to know what kind to get , and the hardware bolts too. And a good reliable company to deal with that you might of used. Thanks for the info.. John

Hey. I got the billet aluminum satin black ones. They are SWEET!! Makes the car look soooo much better then the droopy stock ones. I got mine from aircooled.net for $119. Installation was straight forward. I had a little problem getting some of the holes lined up, but nothing that a little force coudln't fix. For example, i would tighten down the front fender bolt that way it pulled the whole running board forwards. I would then screw in one of the bolts on the side of the board, and then release the front fender one. Then finish doing all the side bolts. Then evenly tightening the main front and back.
