Find a human you can work with in the agency and do what you have to. It took me well over two years to get my Puma titled in Iowa even though I had a bill of sale and a valid Wisconsin title. Because the title called the car "homemade" , the state of Iowa's computer didn't recognize it as a valid automobile and made me do a complete inspection. This inspection required me to pass the dot inspection for the year of the car. I had to change the door latches, mount 4" bumpers, change the speedometer, and meet about 25 other requirements. ( had to get the door latches from Brazil). Anyway the payoff is I probibly have the only Puma in America that is titled as it was built at the factory before disassembly and export to the USA. I have a 1977 Puma GTE Iowa titled car and Hagerty insurance recognized it as such for the agreed value. I like it. Dennis
