OT: Finnish Wildlife

Yes. This happens quite a lot at this time of year. They are young elks that their mothers leave on their own this time og year. They are a little crazy. They cause a lot of road=20 accidents too.

Happens every year.

I saw a full-grown deer crossing the street in my neighborhood this morning when I was leaving for work. Freaky. I don't exactly live out in the country. It didn't like my motorcycle. The closest thing I'd seen to "wildlife" in my neighborhood before this morning was a rabbit.

Elks are a lot bigger and more dangerous in traffic than deer here.=20 They weigh several hundred kilograms and have long legs. This means that most of their weight is positioned on the windshield level on impact. Deer and reindeer are smaller and usually are not lethal.

I can see a rabbit or two every night on our back yard. This summer=20 one rabbit "child" (don't know correct word for a very young rabbit) was living for 2 nights under my beetle. Don't know if it felt like a=20 safe place of what, but there it was sitting under the car beside the rear wheel.

and I bet that one was two dimensional !

We get mainly foxes here, they wreck peoples bins & scared my daughter on her bike ride when it ran across infront of her !

Mmm. Ok. I'm picturing this before my eyes... Jan going upstairs with this girl. In her room, kissing and grabbing. Clothes dropping on the floor... Wait. Hold on a moment. Jan pulls his oil squirt can out and goes to lay on the floor. Oh, now all you can see of Jan is his feet sticking out under the bed....

I see him flying out of the window allright ;)

Damn those hidden webcams.
