I found out how to disable the internal storage locking mechanism by using only two tools. Flat-bladed screwdriver and a Dremel tool. Worked out great. :-) (Those lock mechanisms have been known to lock up and make the gun unusable just when you need them the most like right after firing a shot or after dropping the gun.)
