I painted the apron around and below the deck lid this weekend on my bug. Then I put in a new rubber seal from WCM. It takes some effort to shut and latch the deck lid now. I hope it loosens up a bit after being closed for a few days. Wouldn't want it popping open while I'm driving.
Hey, anyone know offhand why there is a round hole just below that little wedge of metal that the deck lid latch hooks onto?
Ugh, I think that's it for painting until after the summer. It's just too hot already. :)
Oh well, there's something I need to build in the garage anyhow. I can do that instead next weekend.
