Cool! You and I can drink beer, then when you pass out, Sonia will be good conversational company. What more could a guy want?

.........Yeah he's a standard. Originally, he was going to be my dog because my wife thought that she didn't like dogs. After more than three years now, they're bonded to each other for life. He actually stopped eating and kept staring out the window looking for her for four days earlier this year when she had gone out of town to see her mother.

okay....i was about to throw one hell of a zinger...you asked for it...you left yourself WIDE open....but i won't...hehehe.....*this* time....Merry Christmas...

Mmmm, Odd would love to meet that!!

Sorry missy, Schnauser and vicious dont go in the same sentence...

I know. I was telling my husband how odd it is that we always have a lot of cats in our yard since our yard is fenced, and most of the neighbors don't have fenced in yards. My husband said, "well that's because most of the other houses have a dog." I reminded him we have a dog, and he said, "yeah, but he doesn't act like a dog." LOL

That's funny.

We have a Maine Coone derivative kitten that acts like a dog: he comes running when you walk in the door, wants praise and attention, does not miaow and plays fetch (I throw and he brings back). Quite intelligent and funny, always "on" like a puppy. Not at all like any cat but more like a dog..

In my younger days whilst living at "home" I had a Blue Burmese who was the exact of what you describe, I miss him to this day 15 years later...

Well, glad he is finally here!

Now, if Jan needs an automotive project, and is willing to pay for gas both ways, as well as the car(s), Scott and I might be convinced to deliver one or two Beetles to him. If Kidd will allow...

Glad to have you on this side of the Pond, Jan. Surely it won't take you too long to get Kidd whipped into shape?!:~)

Now why you starting trouble?? :)

Remco, I have to agree with you...by the way have you starting to paint your beetle's pan? The temperature here is about 37=BAC so you wouldn't have those types of issues :-) This is getting to hot to work.

Yup - the pan is shaping up! Since the spring weather was unseasonably cold I had to wait a little while to get the paint on. Of course, other projects have come up around the house that, according to my wife, _better_ be done first... err..... take first priority. :)

I've slowly moved on to the body now. In stripping some of the suspect areas, I found that the PO bondo'd over a small hole right under the rear vent so am debating how to cut it out and replace the steel. I suspect it must have been a small hole, but the bondo trapped the moisture and the hole is larger now. It is exactly where that fold in the body is, near my rear fender. I don't need to replace a large chunk (maybe 4.5x4.5 cm) but it is shaped strangely - curved and bent - so fabricating a replacement panel will be interesting. I've made a poor man's English wheel out of some casters and lumber that I will put to the acid test..

Right now it is a nice 27=BAC - perfect for working. Of course, I am now also replacing my back fence, then have to replace my back porch and my wife want me to build a wood deck out back (it is that priority thing I mentioned before :)

Remco

Nice to know, that things are moving.

I also have the same issues. All my wife issues have priority 1 (very urgent) even if I'm under the car holding the engine LOL. Of course Jan doesn't have this kind of issues...

Jo=E3o

If he doesn't now, he will soon :)

..............Ha Ha.........Oh yes he does!

............According to John, you need to 'whip her into shape'.

.......So easy to say.

Right?! Too easy to say, but if I did that I'll have to sleep with one eye open for the rest of my life :)

There are reasons why some of us choose to stay single, you guys have mentioned quite a few...

J.

.=2E.but there also good things that we didn't mention ;-) Usually we don't talk about the good things they have because we are protective
