Problem with volkwagen golf gasoline bomb..

Asuming bomb is the fuel pump, yes... a smooh sound coming from under the rear seat is sinf its working ok. Should be barely audible with the engine running... If its louder than that, check with the mecanic.

Anyway, bomb is most likely a phonetic translation of 'bomba' which in spanish means either a real bomb or a pump :)

Yes... Anyway, all fuel pumps make a soft 'hum' (zumbido leve) but should not make a loud noise and never be heard over the engine noise. In Spanish: un zumbido leve esta bien, pero debe ser lo suficientemente suave para que no la escuches con el motor en marcha...

Now my mechanic is telling me that the sound is going to be less and less in terms of days. I contact the page (URL)you put on, but I didn't find any information about the pumps.
