Good thinking. Recommend buying the boot kit, complete w/hdwr and grease (4 req'd). You will also need the allen key or 12 pt tool (depending). Drill the bolt heads out to get the mud/crud out before using tool. You may want to get the Bentley manual before you start disassembly.
Also, if you swap the new axles side-for-side, you will double the life of the CV's as the balls will ride in the un-worn side of the race.
