Replacing Starter Bushing

Can it be done with engine in? Is it a matter of pushing the old one and the new one in? Any hint/tricks would be appreciated...

There is a special tool for it. You have to *pull* the old one out. You can run a tap into the bushing to thread it. Then screw in a bolt and pull the bolt out. They're not pressed in that tightly.

or just keep running that tap in there and it pulls it out.......no bolt needed!

Installing it can be done with a socket, extension and a small hammer to lightly tap it in. Remember to keep it straight and grease it after installation.
