Is there a a Chassis number list somewhere for the Sports bug? There is a good chance I've found one and would like to make sure. Also would be helpful a list of all the things that makes this model special.

A "Birth Certificate" from Wolfsburg would reveal more about your car, however some special editions were not recorded by chassis number if they were "dealer fit" options.

Howard, there is no sure way to know is that's it. 1st, because neptune yellow was not the only color. 2nd. This one doesn't have the original headlight rings. 3rd. Originally yellow, this one is now Black. 4th. It doesn't have the original seats or steering wheel.
