......................When were these good old days that I keep hearing about? RAMVA is actually kind of tame now when you think of some the flamefests from three or four years ago.

Not at all what I meant. Bob uses that phrase quite a bit. The "appologies" were just for highjacking the phrase. I was just making a (very small) joke.

.....ANYONE with knowledge of Mr. Hoover's ongoing battle to protect mass distributation his copywrited material would find this statement to be offensive and inflamatory, showing a great level of inconsideration to Mr. Hoover. I found Mr. Hoover's response quite apropriate in view of the background information. Yes Bob knows many people did access illegal copies of the sermons andf download....after all its desireable knowledge. But to flaunt that fact, and the ease of which copying that knowledge could be done, in a thread which Mr. Hoover was participating actively no less, was far from tactful.

I agree with Gareth. Shaggie likes to pull chains, sometimes he pulls the wrong one. I don't see why Shaggie got so upset over Bob's retort. If you rib somebody in the wrong place the onus is upon you to make it right. I've been on this NG for years now and I have never noticed Bob taking part in any of the occasional ribbing that takes place here so why drag him into it? And why expect him to take it in stride?
