things that come to the shop

Tim, I can't help with this particular issue (or maybe I can, but I got tired of reading all the text), but let me assure you that you are way too young too worry about Old-Timers disease. Or whatever they call it.

When I had my shop I used to call a lot of it customer stupidity after a while. It was one of the reasons that I shut it down and went on a 2 year vacation. That 2 years were the best that I ever have had in my life. Spent the whole time up in the mountains living like they did back in the 1800's prospecting for gold. The only work that I do now is for myself or a few friends.

Little update on the 61 I just got it was last on the road in 92. It has a liittle drivers side rocker rust and needs rear bumper brackets interior is great, and after running thru the car was its going to be a good looking driver. I spent about 30 min on spark plugs fuel lines and started it up and drove it around the parking lot.. hey brakes ar over rated...e-brake works very well.
