VW Trike

Thats cool!

While cruising through town solo the other night, found a flock of Harleys at the local DQ. Stopped to gaze and there was a guy there with a trike, had a beetle body with a trike front end. My pics didn't turn out but I plan to see him again, he has some parts I want.

I gotta find an aircooled group to ride with around here. They were having too much fun. < TC

When I was a kid here in Central IL there was a trike right across the street. It was like a show vehicle. Blue space tube frame. He had all the tin off the motor and had little electric fans over each cylinder. It was simply fantastic. I've never ever seen anything else like it. More custom show vehicle than motorcyle or VW. As a kid I could tell it was a VW motor but other than that I didn't know anything (don't remember either) about it. It was a work of art. Wish someone had taken some pictures of it at the time. Dan
