Is any body using it, Mobil says its safe as a 5-30 replacement and saves 2% on gas, is it safe on a 02, 4 cil, v40 with 55000m

2% adds up over time.
The owners manual can't predict new and potentially superior products that may show up after the car is manufactured. The manual for my 240T recommends regular 10W30, but few would argue that synthetic is not a better choice for a car with an oil cooled turbocharger.
