I need to change the front wheel bearing on my wifes '86 760 and just wonder if someone knows the SKF part number of the top of their head? Just saves me taking the hub apart to get the number and then hoping they have one in stock as I wanted to change on the weekend.
cheers

Sorry, you have to take things apart enough to determine whether you have the "one piece" or "two piece" brake disc / hub arrangement. The bearing kits are different between them. The two-piece setups are newer, and in the '86 you could have either.
Look at the front brake discs on

for your '86 760 to determine which you have. In short, in the one-piece version the lugs are fastened into the brake disc, while in the two-piece the disc slips over the lugs. The same company is also a good source for the bearing kits. I replaced one of mine (one piece) about a month ago, and the kit had everything I needed - including grease, dust cap, cotter pin. There are a pair of bearings and a seal, too.
