The heating on my driver side seat is not functioning, and the passenger side has some heat but I know it could get warmer. Not exactly sure where to start and check, does anyone have any good advice for this issue?

I have a 240DL that has the same problem... After some investigation, turns out the heating elements disintegrate on some models after a period of time.
I know that the seat heating elements are replaceable, but am not sure how much they cost or the exact procedure. I live near a really good Volvo specialist and the seats are a real b*tch to deal with, so I leave that to them.

700 seats are a bit tougher to get out but come apart pretty much the same way.
