Can someone please tell me what these wires go to?

Thanks all for your help with my many posts. I am still double checking wires since my engine was re-installed.

I need to please know if these wires are supposed to be connected to something.

They go to the cruise control vacuum pump. If you don't have cruise control they don't go to anything. On some of the the arly cruise control kits they were extraneous wires in the harness. You ran a new separate harness during installation.

The single connector in the other socket allows one to connect a remote starter switch so that you can activate the starter at will in order to turn the motor for diagnostic and maintenance procedures without having to reach inside the car to turn the key. Sweet feature on a Volvo, rarely found on other cars.
