I have a 2.5 V70 1989 model with the 140bhp engine. Can this be easily chipped to raise the power to the next level, 170bhp I think? What is involved and is it "safe", i.e. won't blow the engine and the other bits can handle it? Any UK specialist in this field? Thank you for help. John Lowe UK

Ehh if you have a 1989 V70 I don't know. It must be a concept car... But seriously, yes this model is very "chippable". The 140hp and 170hp is as far as I know the same engine, just different software. /Patrik
