I am posting some links I have found useful as well as a "FACTOIDS" section regarding tire stuff mainly.... may you find this useful....
FACTOIDS
Did you know air pressure in a tire goes up in warm weather and down in cold weather one to two pounds for every ten degrees of ambient temperature change. Consequently, tires can lose a pound of air pressure every month. Tires that appear properly inflated can have half the required air pressure in them and under-inflated tires can lower fuel mileage by 1% for every two pounds below the recommended pressure. When was the last time you checked your tire pressure? And by the way, buy a good quality tire pressure gauge as almost 20% of gas station gauges over-report pressure by 4 PSI or more leading to under-inflation of your tires. A good set of properly inflated tires should deliver 40,000 to
80,000 miles of trouble-free driving. You won't believe how great your car drives with a new set of tires between you and the road.FYI
