Hey all.....not sure exactly how to describe this. I've got an 88'
240 wagon. She's been running pretty well after a new alternator, battery, timing belt, cam seal, valve cover gasket, air filter, cleaned out flame trap, and brakes. The problem is thus: When I am backing up, and then come to a stop, before I put it back into drive or park, the idle goes down, and it seems like it's about to stall. This happens sometimes when I come to a stop from drive too, before I hit the gas again. For example, at stop lights it will run a little irregularly. I'm hoping this isn't too serious....perhaps the fuel filter? Is there a way to test this without just swapping it out? Or am I not even close? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Aside from the timing belt and cam seal, I've been able to do the work myself....hopefully so with this too!Also.....wonder if there is a way to fix the rear defrost? The wiring is all correct (since the new tailgate harness' I put in!) and the light comes on in the button....but seems to have no effect on the glass itself.
