i was recently in a *slight* fender bender. no noticeable damange - except - the pin at the front of the hood that holds it down to the body won't release when i pull the interior release. the cable is moving, i can see that it's working, as is the moveable part that normally releases the pin. it seems that the pin is catching on the grommet that it is supposed to release out of, and i have to pull the pin forward with a crowbar to get it to pop up through the grommet.
do i have to adjust the angle of the pin? is this the problem? did it get bent back in the fender bender?
