Hey all. I was thinking about putting an aftermarket remote starter in a 2004 S40. I went to Best Buy to check on pricing and the tech said that it would be an additional $150 or so to take the security chip out of a key and put it into the remote starter. When I contacted the Volvo dealership they said that they definately don't recommend putting one in b/c it would cut into "digital wires". I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience or advice on this. Thanks.
