Hi I want to add a trip computer to my 98 S70. The upgrade costs 370$. I want to do it myself and get the parts used. What parts do i need? Must i dismanlte the dash to add it. How does it work, will it display where the clock is now, and must i get extra buttons or something to operate it?

Problem is it needs a software upgrade from Volvo dealer. In addition to the hardware.
I was told only for 99 models and up.
No, it applies to all 70 series
So basicly 370$ for adding a switch and installing some software. argh! I is hard to hard the switch and how? I can probably get the switch used, does it have a part number?
